providing answers to their information needs
2) WHAT IS YOUR EDITORIAL PROFILE ?
We provide information on a wide range of health issues, focusing on preventive care and everyday wellness. Our communication approach has a high educational component, which is written in a sincere and concise style that is easily accessible to all education levels. We understand and integrate the cultural values of the Hispanic community, covering topics of interest and with which they identify.
3) WHAT TYPES OF CONTENT IS PRESENT IN EVERY ISSUE?
We emphasize issues that concern and interest a large number of Latino patients. Each edition features unique information on seasonal topics in addition to the following permanent topics:
Hypertension / Diabetes / Women’s Health / Healthy Eating / Mental Health / Patient – Physician relationship / Alternative Therapies / Aesthetics
We also have attractive covers that feature Hispanic celebrities talking about their personal experiences of health and serving as spokespersons to educate the community.
4) WHAT IS THE FREQUENCY OF THE MAGAZINE?
EBS is published every two months ( 6 issues per year)
5) WHAT IS THE DISTRIBUTION MODEL?
The magazine is free to readers and distributed exclusively in health care providers’ waiting rooms. Our “Enjoy & Share” system invites the reader to enjoy the magazine during their waiting time and then leave it to be used by the next person.
6) WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE MAGAZINE?
EBS is published in different states and cities.
Our distribution partners are in constant expansion. Our goal is to be present in areas with high concentrations of Hispanic patients.
